About Me
Jonathan Beck, NSCA-CPT
My journey into fitness and health began as far back as I can remember. I was a multi-sport athlete throughout my life, with hockey being my primary focus. However, a series of injuries forced me to step away from competitive sports as a teenager. That’s when I discovered weight training—and I was hooked. I thrived in the gym, and when I wasn’t working out, I was dedicating my free time to researching and learning everything I could about fitness.

With my background in physical activity and training, becoming a Certified Personal Trainer felt like the perfect career path. But it wasn’t until I experienced my own health struggles that I truly understood the importance of factors beyond the gym. As my health declined, I realized that fitness isn’t just about training—it’s about lifestyle, nutrition, and overall well-being. While some of my conditions can’t be cured, taking a health-first approach, prioritizing proper nutrition, and making key lifestyle changes have helped me regain my strength and get back to doing what I love.

This journey led me to become a Certified Nutrition Coach and a Certified Gut Health Coach, and my education and my experiences as a professional thus far have reinforced my belief that true transformation starts with what we put into our bodies. Through my own challenges, I recognized how many others are in the same position—struggling with health issues and receiving little to no guidance from the medical system. That’s when I made the decision to step up, earn my certifications, and dedicate myself to helping others overcome obstacles just as I have.

As a coach, I take a holistic approach to health and fitness. I focus on optimizing lifestyle factors outside of the gym to ensure my clients get the most out of their training—so they can truly transform their lives.
